Elk Grove raised my family.

Public service shaped my career.

Now I'm running to strengthen our schools.

  • I am a first-generation college graduate, a 30-year Elk Grove resident, and an EGUSD parent.

  • I helped launch CalKIDS - California's $2 billion children's savings program and spent time advising teachers at CalSTRS.

  • As External Affairs Officer for State Treasurer Fiona Ma, CPA, I build the partnerships that connect California's most vulnerable students to opportunity.

  • I am running for the EGUSD Board of Education because I know what it takes — and because our students deserve someone who has already done this work.

“I know Rachell’s commitment to students and families isn't just something she talks about - it's something she delivers every single day. She helped launch CalKIDS, giving California’s students a financial head start toward whatever path they choose - college, a skilled trade, or certificate program.

Rachell knows how to get results, and she’s accountable to the people she serves. Elk Grove students and families will be well served by her experience, her heart, and her deep roots in the district she seeks to represent."

Why I’m Running

Elk Grove is a community that values its schools, and I believe we have a responsibility to protect and strengthen that foundation for the next generation.

But today, too many families are feeling the strain. Students need support to succeed in a changing world. Educators are being asked to do more than ever. And parents want to know their voices matter.

I believe our schools are strongest when we stay focused on what matters most. Supporting students. Strengthening classrooms. Working together as a community.

Because every student deserves not just an education, but a clear path forward.

“Elk Grove has a lot to be proud of… and when we stay engaged, we can keep that momentum going for our students.”
